Winters End Farm is a tranquil full service boarding and training facility located less than 20 miles from Boston in Stoughton, Ma. We offer a complete boarding, lesson and multi-discipline training program focused on hunter/jumper equitation. It is our focus to meet each horses' individual needs and help each rider achieve their goals across their chosen discipline.
WEF is also the home of the Stonehill Skyhawks equestrian team.
MEET OUR TRAINERS
Zina has been teaching and training for the past 12 years. She is a young, ambitious professional who grew up riding in the hunter/equitation divisions while spending most of her free time foxhunting with Owen Hughes and the Norfolk Hunt. She believes her equitation background has been influential to her success in her current discipline of eventing. She therefore strives to give all of her students that same solid foundation in hopes they may find success in the discipline of their choosing. Her passion is in working with young or quirky horses with patience and consistency to develop them into talented mounts. Zina teaches at Winters End Monday through Saturday. She is accepting new clients on a limited basis with preference given to those students who wish to be on a consistent schedule. She can easily be reached via email.
Kristen Redquest has been serving as the head coach of the Stonehill College equestrian team for the past few years, prior to this she was their assistant coach. Before joining Winters End Farm, she was a trainer at Canton Equestrian Center since 1991. She provides instruction for beginner to advanced level riders, coaches at area shows and cares for border horses. Redquest has also spent a year as assistant trainer at Millpond Farm in Kittery, Main, and six years as a barn manager and horse show groom at Genesis Farm in Sherborn, Mass. Maura has been riding for over 20 years, and has an enduring passion for all things horse. She competed on the Sacred Heart University Equestrian Team. Maura embarked on her career with horses as a young adult, and loves helping her students reach their goals. She strives to instill confidence by establishing a solid foundation while keeping it fun! Maura teaches beginner and intermediate lessons at Winters End Monday through Wednesday and Saturday, but has some flexibility to accommodate every schedule. She can easily be reached via email.
Molly has been riding and working with horses for over 16 years. Molly earned her degree in Equine Management in 2015 from Mount Ida College where she also competed regularly on the college’s IHSA team. As a young rider, Molly grew up showing in the hunter/jumper circuit at local and A rated shows, traveling all around New England. Her passion for the horse industry has been something she has been working towards her whole life and is excited to be started her career here at Winters End farm. She can easily be reached via email.
